FluentAI: Speak English Daily is developed and operated by INSPIRE GEN CO., LTD. ("we," "our," or "us"). We are committed to protecting your privacy while you embark on your language learning journey. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle your data within the application.
1. Data We Collect and How We Use It
- AI Interaction Data: To generate natural conversation responses, correct grammar mistakes, and provide Thai grammar explanations, your text inputs are processed using Google's Gemini AI API. This process is anonymous; we do not send any personally identifiable information (PII) to Google's servers.
- Local Data Persistence: Your chat history, learning logs (personal journal), total XP, level progress, daily streak, custom name, and profile avatar URI are stored locally on your device using a secure local database (SQLite/Room Database). This data does not leave your device and is not uploaded to our servers.
- Profile Customization: If you choose to personalize your avatar, the app accesses your device's photo gallery via the Android Photo Picker. The selected image is processed locally, and its file reference remains strictly on your device.
- Advertising & Analytics: We integrate Google AdMob SDK to serve personalized and non-personalized advertisements (such as App Open, Rewarded, and Interstitial ads). AdMob may collect and process your mobile device's Advertising ID and other device identifiers to provide relevant ads and analyze ad performance.
2. Data Security & Storage
Because FluentAI primarily utilizes local storage, your conversation histories and grammar analysis remain securely inside your physical device. We do not maintain any central cloud database containing your personal learning data, making our application highly compliant with international privacy standards.
3. Your Rights & Data Control
You have full control over your data. You can erase all chat history, clear your learning journal, and reset your statistics (XP and level) at any time by clearing the application's storage in your device settings or by deleting the app, which completely purges all local databases.
